Looking Ahead
Sustainability at Contamac is not a fixed goal—it is an ongoing process of improvement.
While the nature of our materials presents challenges, we remain committed to innovation that reduces environmental impact, improves efficiency, and helps set the standard for responsible manufacturing in our industry.
We don’t just manufacture materials—we continuously evolve how they are made.
Supporting Our Community
Contamac has a longstanding relationship with Support 4 Sight, an Essex-based charity dedicated to supporting people who are blind or partially sighted, as well as their carers and families.
Through practical and emotional support—including needs assessments, home visits and telephone befriending—Support 4 Sight helps people living with sight loss maintain independence, connection and confidence, while reducing the risk of loneliness and isolation.
For more than seven years, Contamac has supported the charity by raising funds and awareness of its vital work within our local community. Our continued partnership reflects our commitment to corporate responsibility and to making a positive contribution beyond our business.
As a company dedicated to developing materials that help enable better vision worldwide, supporting an organisation that improves the lives of people affected by sight loss is a natural extension of what we do.
We are proud to support Support 4 Sight and the important difference it makes to individuals, families and communities across Essex.
