HI56 is available in Two-Side Finished (2SF) and One-Side Finished (1SF) disks. The 2SF option features fully moulded anterior and posterior optics, requiring only haptic milling, while the 1SF option provides a finished posterior optic with additional anterior material for customised optic generation. This flexibility supports advanced IOL designs, including toric, multifocal, trifocal, and EDOF lenses, while maintaining manufacturing efficiency.

Specifically formulated to fulfil modern-day demands for a hydrophobic intraocular lens material, HI56 offers a unique combination of high refractive index, tensile strength and flexibility, for small incision and fast unfolding time.
